Leadership Q&A Session

My first role was as a support worker for young homeless people, and that experience shaped everything that followed. I’ve always believed that safe, quality housing is the foundation for people to rebuild their lives — whether they’re facing homelessness, mental health challenges, or domestic abuse.

I’ve led services from criminal justice to dementia support. That breadth helps me balance financial and operational stability with person-centred care and support.

My role on the Salford gives me real-time insight into strategic priorities. I translate that into practical action so providers stay ahead of change.

Quality is about listening. When residents and staff help shape services, trust with commissioners and regulators grows — without losing independence.

Collaboration. Working together strengthens finances, preserves independence and improves homes and services for the people who rely on them.
